“Martin’s Selection” is a featured wine that I am particularly excited about at the moment.

It is always a joyful occasion to discover and learn about new wines, so I invite you to join me on that journey. My hope is that I can nudge you toward wines that you perhaps would not have explored otherwise or deepen your understanding of classic varietals. If you would like to order, please email me.

My selection for Spring 2019 is the ’13 Battuello Vineyard Gamay. This exciting wine is reminiscent of a Beaujolais, yet distinctly Californian and youthful for its age. Lots of red currants, cranberries, violets and wild strawberry aromas. Flavors of cherry pie, clove, spearmint, and cassis. As a lighter body wine it will pair well with rich summer foods.
